As far as I can remember, the identity question reappears… it is there, not accommodating any valid answer.
The exercise of presentation crystallizes for a moment this elusive identity for myself. But let's assume that each day could give rise to a new look at its own history, at the issues that set us in motion.
I am 38 years old.
I was born in France to a Kabyle father and a Moroccan mother. On the road to integration, we have commonly lost our parents' language and we miss some bits of history.
I feel at home everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I followed a classic school path and had the chance to grow up in a loving family.
My career as a plateau craftsman is punctuated with experiences of all kinds, from contemporary dance to the circus, through theater and hip hop dance, as if to never really be in a place to take advantage of hindsight, the chance to discover with an almost candid look.
I push open the doors of a theater for the first time, at 19 years old. Access to culture, art and dance had not crossed my path until then. I immediately felt concerned and went to meet London hip hop dancers, I stayed there for a year.
Self-taught, nourished by multiple memorable encounters, I take professional experiences as opportunities to learn again and again.
But the avowed goal is to create, to initiate projects myself, to build forms of shows to share. I have almost always done it, as an amateur, abroad, for commissions, with several collectives.
I created my company in 2015 to allow these projects to be carried.
The first show of my company is a solo “PARADOXAL WILD”. This first project was the inevitable path, the beacon to be able to navigate the group room to come.
En parallèle, il développe une dynamique pédagogique forte, intervient dans de nombreux projets d’éducation artistique et culturelle dans la région Sud et accompagne également des danseurs sur le chemin de la professionnalisation.
Nacim est actuellement artiste associé à Théâtres en Dracénie, scène conventionnée art et création-danse.
